I often feel that, both to help and to be helped, you have to open your heart to allow the flow of compassion to run its healing course. This vulnerable state is actually a profound place to inhabit, and allows us to see past the illusionary aspects of the self, providing a glimpse into our eternal nature.
And even though the spark of passion and love are immanent in us all, sometimes we can feel like just an empty shell of a body. But to notice the suffering of another beckons us to offer help, despite the potential unknowns of such a journey. So let us all have the courage to share our inner fire with those in need. It might be the most impactful thing we can do in life.
